Dedicated to liberating deliciousness, we believe that treats should be nourishing, and that's why we have made it our mission to create healthy donuts and baked goods that not only taste amazing but also provide a serving of good stuff for both the body and the mind. We don't believe in sacrificing flavor or customer satisfaction at the altar of health and wellness (honestly, nor should anyone).

We understand that everyone has different dietary preferences and restrictions, which is why we have carefully crafted five donut lines that cater to all eaters. Whether you're vegan, sugar-free, gluten-free, keto, or following a Paleo diet, we’ve ticked all the boxes, and have something for most everyone!

We are sometimes asked what specialty really means regarding coffee. At Hello, You're Welcome (HYW), specialty coffee holds immense significance for us. When we use the term "special," we are referring to something that stands out, possesses exceptional quality, and exhibits a distinctive character. It represents excellence and preciousness, which reflects our unwavering commitment to handling coffee with the utmost care. To ensure the highest standards, we have partnered with Roast House Coffee (RHC), a highly acclaimed Good Food and Golden Bean Awarded coffee roaster based in Spokane, Washington. RHC shares our understanding of the challenges faced by the coffee industry, such as the use of harmful chemicals, lack of equity, and deforestation driven by profit motives in many coffee terroirs. In line with our genuine concern, RHC goes beyond the "basic sustainable statement" often greenwashed and used by other “specialty coffee” companies.

Chef Leah and her big sister Jo, the driving forces behind our company, started Hello, You're Welcome not only because of the lack of clean treats and good, clean food available, but also because of their unwavering commitment to making a positive impact.

From the very beginning, we understood that as a corporation and small investment group, we have the power to choose where our dollars go. Just as much time and effort goes into sourcing the finest ingredients for our donuts, we put in the same dedication to sourcing and understanding the vendors we work with. We believe in supporting and giving our dollars to good-minded people who are making a difference in our world marketplace.

Our collective vision extends beyond just our own success. We aspire to grow Hello, You're Welcome into a model that others can embrace and adopt as their own business. Meet Kaci, our Corporate head baking honcho at Hello, You're Welcome.

With a diverse range of experiences as a baker and chef, Kaci brings a unique and intriguing perspective to the culinary world. From teaching in-home cooking classes to participating in workshops and interning in various culinary settings, she has honed her skills and knowledge to become an exceptional leader. Kaci's ability to effectively communicate culinary techniques and recipes, sets her apart, ensuring that our teams not only understand but can replicate the skills learned. What makes Kaci truly remarkable is her incorporation of alternative baking techniques and dietary considerations, allowing her to cater to a wide range of needs and preferences. With Kaci's diverse background and unwavering passion for the culinary arts,  she creates engaging and informative culinary experiences for us all.  PS. Really kaci could replace Capt, Kirk… Get ready to embark on a culinary journey like no other with Kaci as your guide (haha)

Each of these talented women has dedicated a significant amount of their time to develop recipes that perfectly align with our mission statement and core values.

Barbara, a member of our team from 2010 to 2014, played a pivotal role in launching our first concept, EAT marketplace in old town Temecula. Her creativity and passion were instrumental in kickstarting our vegan donut program.  PS. Bab’s (as chef calls her) is a brilliant pro, kickass woman who brings joy to the entire team.

Desiree (aka dezzy arnezzi), joined us eight years ago as a home baker and young mama.

 

A shooting star, she has become a creative force at our Temecula concept, EAT Marketplace. She has blossomed into an extraordinary baker. Her exceptional talent lies in her ability to create unique flavors and her keen sensibility for combining them. She continuously surprises us with her innovative creations, keeping us all on our toes!  PS. Dez is fearless and can up-cycle anything food!

Margo, with her deep-rooted appreciation for old-school French patisserie values, she brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to our team. Her dedication and commitment to preserving the traditions of French baking have been invaluable in shaping our menu!  PS. She is also a wicked smart thriftier with a love of funky antiques!

Their unwavering dedication and passion have been instrumental in shaping what we are achieving here at Hello, You're Welcome. We are incredibly grateful for the hard work and commitment of these three remarkable women, who have tirelessly contributed to our success.
